Peter Ashkin, a leader and master problem-solver, has been involved with Green2Sustainable since its beginning.
Throughout his career with some of the most successful, visible, and innovative global corporations, Peter has consistently demonstrated his leadership and problem-solving skills.
He has demonstrated his adaptability by working in organizations facing rapid change and intense competition in uncertain economic times, a testament to his unwavering resilience and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
As the president of Peter Ashkin Consulting, Peter Ashkin is currently focused on working with high-tech start-up companies. His extensive experience includes:

Senior vice president and chief technology officer of Gateway Computer
Executive management positions at both Toshiba and Apple Computer.
He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he studied electrical engineering.
Steve Ashkin -CEO
Steve has been deeply engaged with green and sustainability issues for more than 30 years.
During that time, he has had the pleasure of working with leaders in governments, NGOs, unions, corporations and others including US Environmental Protection Agency, US Department of Energy, Google, CB Richard Ellis, Jones Lang LaSalle, Procter & Gamble, Healthy Schools Campaign, Green Sports Alliance, Major League Soccer and New York Yankees.
He founded Sustainability Dashboard Tools in 2009 believing that decision-making required good data – and the only thing worse than no data was bad data.
In 2021, the company pivoted and rebranded as Green2Sustainable to build upon its cost-effective ability to capture high quality, hard to get data to focus on global regulatory reporting requirements and organization’s desires to reduce risk, improve performance and monitor their supply chain.
Today, Steve is recognized as a powerful voice on sustainability having authored four books, more than 1,200+ magazine articles, spoken at hundreds of conferences around the globe, and serving on numerous technical committees including for the US Green Building Council, International WELL Building Institute, and the International Sanitary Supply Association where he cochairs their global sustainability committee.
Brian J. Johnson - director
Brian J. Johnson is a seasoned professional in the field of sustainability. He currently serves as the Director of Sustainability Practice for Green2Sustainable.
Johnson is a true pioneer in the sustainability world, and his leadership over the past 35 years has been instrumental in driving forward scores of sustainability initiatives.
Before joining Green2Sustainable, Johnson held significant leadership roles that have left a lasting impact. He served as the Deputy Director for the State of California’s Environmental Protection Agency, where he led the Department of Toxic Substances Control.
Johnson also served as the founding Director of the City of Santa Monica’s Sustainability and Environment Division, leading the development and implementation of one of the world’s most recognized governmental sustainability programs.
His leadership at SanPa International, a sustainability consulting firm serving primarily in Latin America, and as a Sustainability Expert for Arthur D. Little further demonstrates his influential roles in the field.
Johnson has served on state, federal, and international advisory and regulatory development boards and as a leader in many certification and standard-setting initiatives. He has used his skills as a scientist and adept leader to drive sustainability into the mainstream marketplace.
Nathan Mishler - LEAD Developer
Nathan is a software developer who works with organizations that focus on driving positive behavioral change in their clients and constituents by overseeing feature development and custom software solutions.
He graduated from Goshen College with a BA in Computer science in 2000 and Indiana University (IU) with a MA in Telecommunications in 2005. He continues to teach at IU as an adjunct professor.
Isaac Halbrook - Senior Program Manager
Isaac Halbrook is a Senior Project Manager at Green2Sustainable, bringing over 12 years of experience with the organization. He initially served as the Data Services Manager and Sustainability Specialist, where he led his team in delivering high-quality data integration and auditing services, ensuring accurate and trustworthy data and reporting for clients.
Isaac specializes in addressing diverse client needs, including carbon accounting, local benchmark compliance reporting and more, to support effective sustainability initiatives and maintain reporting compliance.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and is a Certified Sustainability (ESG) Practitioner.
